The Sims exchange was one of the most interesting part of the Sims community, it allowed Sims Player community member to Upload, Exchange and Use Other mods and customisations made by other player world wide ,and with upcoming new feature of the sims 4 , The "Blocks" we can expect more fun and engaging communities.
from my former post about sims 4 new "blocks" feature , we know that the "Blocks" are ready made building-block for your sims house, there are Main room Block, Bedroom Block, etc,. Blocks basically was ready made structure with walls and floor ready to Pug into your existing sims house. The new building syste are far more flexible compared to old sims game.
It seem that developer want to make player more happy by looking at vast array of other player ready made block and then use block they like to improve their existing sims house. The player are also think to creating his own blocks and then thinking "wow ai can do that.? " and then shared to other player.
